BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch - About Us
BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch
is located in the beautiful Texas hill country near Vanderpool.
A high game-proof fence, an abundance of running spring water and
year-round feeding insure that the ranch remains well stocked with
enough game to attract the novice hunter or the seasoned veteran.
Game
Selection:
Whitetail,
Axis Deer, Catalina Goats, Corsican, Black Hawaiian,
Texas Dall and Aoudad Sheep. Wild Hogs, predators and varmints.

Bryan Keeling has been operating and managing this ranch since
June 1992. The BugScuffle is a fully functional ranch that has
large assortment of native and wild game. New blood is regularly
introduced into the exotic herds that improve the quality of the
animals.
We believe
that bow hunting is much more challenging than rifle hunting,
due to the requirement of having to be up close and personal with
the animals.
Debbie and
Bryan both take bookings and collect the fees for the hunts. Bryan and his guides make sure that all feeders are kept full
and rotated around the ranch. Hunters are responsible to set
up their own stands.
Bryan and guides ensures that each hunter is given a tour of
the ranch upon arrival. Protein Feed is provided to the animals
on
a regular basis from free choice feeders, corn from timed feeder’s
year around.
Both Debbie
and Bryan are active in the Lone Star Bow hunters Association LSBA promoting bow hunting in Texas, as well as being active members
of Traditional Bow hunters of Texas. We enjoy the privilege of
bow hunting in this great country.
The BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch is 2000 acres with many canyons and natural springs. The
property is high fenced with a secure entrance gate. The hunting
lodge is right off the main hwy for easy access and can lodge
8 hunters. |
