BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch - Game Information

    The beautiful 2000 acre BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch is located in the southern hill country overlapping Bandera and Real counties. The ranch is high fenced and has been game managed for 7 years. There is an abundance of running spring water and the terrain is quite rough. Strategically placed throughout the ranch for easy access by the game, are free choice feeders, which are filled with a high protein feed to supplement natural food sources and to enhance body and antler development. The game can eat as much as it wants from these feeders, so in periods of scarce natural food sources we are confident that we will have a healthy well-fed animal population.
    Because of the roughness of the terrain in several areas of the ranch, wild hog hunting is exceptional.
    The BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch offers a wide variety of game to offer a range of choices and challenges to the bow hunter. Animals available to hunt include: Whitetail, Axis Deer, Catalina Goats, Corsican, Black Hawaiian, Texas Dall and Aoudad Sheep. Wild Hogs, predators and varmints unlimited.
Hunting Packages: All new hunting fees are for 2009. If your hunt is currently booked and your deposit has been received, previous prices are valid. All hunting is subject to Texas game laws.

BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch

Native Game ($275 / day with 2 day minimum.):

  • 1 whitetail buck
  • 2 whitetail does
  • unlimited hogs and Varmints
  • Yearling deer of either sex are not legal.
BugScuffle Texas Bow Hunting Ranch

Axis Deer ($300 / day with 2 day minimum. One animal per 2 day hunt.)

  • No animal is allowed to be harvested in velvet
  • 24" minimum beam length
  • 3 points per side
  • No females
  • unlimited hogs and Varmints

Blackbuck ($300 / day with 2 day minimum. One animal per 2 day hunt.)

  • All Blackbuck hunting will be on a Quota basis. These hunts can be closed at any time. There is a 2 twist minimum on blackbuck, $750 if undersized.

Sheep and Goats ($175 / day with 2 day minimum. One animal per 2 day hunt.)

  • No females (either species)
  • unlimited hogs and Varmints

HOG Hunting ONLY($80 / day with 2 day minimum.):
NOTE: Hog hunting not available during whitetail deer season.
